I usually don't post reviews but am glad to with this unit. I have found the Dabbsson DBS2300+(plus) to be a very good unit at a competitive price for its battery capacity. It is compact in size and packs a punch at 2300WH (watt hours) for its weight at roughly 60 pounds.
It can handle AC power surges when it is hooked up to an appliance like a refrigerator kicks on. Dabbsson calls it p-boost. It is very expandable… up to roughly 8 times the capacity by adding more external units which also allows for a much higher solar input capacity.
It is very flexible in charging. On the solar side (PV input) via an XT-60 connection It can handle up to 800 watts, 25amps and 75 volts max. I have found it will favor the PV input over the AC input when the battery is low and needs to be charged.
The app gives this unit good control functionality. You can set the AC input wattage levels when charging in the app. It can also be used as a UPS which Dabbsson calls the EPS mode. It has a 5 year warranty if you register it in the app.
I have found the customer service to very responsive when I have questions about the functionality. You can call or email technical support. Sean in that department has been great to deal with. I have also received a firmware update which is done via the app.
