    Spectacular display

It's an enthusiast product, not a value buy. The one I got has very little backlight bleed only at bottom right corner, the rest of it is pristine. The screen overclocks perfectly to 120Hz as advertised, unlike some of the Asus and Acer products. Color is limited to 8-bit, but it looks really nice after a proper calibration. I decided not to wait for the HDR displays as I expect them to cost more than what it's worth. This is the best of the pre-HDR-gsync 34 inch ultrawides. My only gripe is that a week after I bought it, Dell had it $100 cheaper with student discount. :(

Acer and Asus can make a better 34" ultrawide IPS gaming then Dell can.

I love the design of this monitor. I love the integrated power supply in it. The stronger curvature of the monitor was better to play with. Also the 120Hz is better than the 100Hz compared to competitors. But with the Gamma Deviance from 2.2 off by 17% and the Calibrated Contrast Ratio is 840:1 way to low for me. I had a Acer Predator x34 also I had to go back to. The Acer Predator x34 puts out a lot better Peak brightness, a stronger contrast ratio, the ability to adjust the gamma, the LED lighting on the bottom has possibility of changing it to just White, and also you can even adjust the color saturation. Acer and Asus can make a better 34" ultrawide IPS gaming then Dell can. The design, stronger curvature and the 120Hz is way better than 100Hz it's not worth the problems with the color and Gamma, Contrast Ratio, accuracies. Go check out the reviews on tftcentral

  • My Eyes Are Happy, My Wallet Doesn't Want To Talk About It

This is a pretty amazing piece of hardware. Easy to setup. Came in great condition. I'm using it mostly for the recording studio and work right now, but will probably throw some games on here soon to really see it go. I got a good price, but I wish the prices for screens would come back down to earth a bit. Hey, I paid for it, so they must have me right where they want me. :-) First large curved screen monitor experience, and I must say...it's epic.

  • Great monitor; easy setup; solid build; great adjustment options

This is the best monitor by far I have ever owned, but more important is the fact that this one came in pristine condition (FedEx), looking like the box was taken right off the rack. Having something this large and expensive shipped is always a stresser to me, so thanks to Newegg and FedEx! No dead pixels, and some minimal black light bleed, as others have pointed out. I think as far as that goes I got a good one, thankfully. Setting it up is easy enough, although I owe thanks to the YouTubers for helping me with the settings for colors and the like. There is a lot there, but that's a good thing. Everything looks fantastic! I pulled the trigger on Newegg at 769.99, which to me is the deal I was waiting a long while for. Lately they have been the ones coming through on the best prices for the pricier PC components. The build and feel of this monitor is very solid, and it sits pretty still when the desk is moves/shaken. The adjustment options for the screen are great, as well.

  • Really great monitor. Impressed.

This was a huge upgrade for me. Went from a 11 year old 24" 1080p 60hz monitor, that honestly is still pretty pricy, used. And was still doing a great job. But it was time for an upgrade. It's only been a day, but so far I am impressed. No dead pixels, and no noticable black light bleed. I may have won the panel lottery though. Running it on a PC I built. Asrock z370 taichi, 8700k(OC 4.9ghz), 1080ti, 16gb ram. 960 evo. No screen tearing, ghosting so far. But I've only thrown a few things at it. No problems with the 120hz OC and works well with the G-Sync. Blacks are great for an ips panel. That along with the colors of the ips compared to a vs make this a win for me over the x35 predator that I was considering. Solid stand. With some built in cable management. Range of motion is great, can adjust to any viewing angle. (Within reason). I dont notice the LED glow during the day. But plan on tweaking it tonight to match the guts of my PC. As with most monitors settings needed to be adjusted a little out of the box, but other than that I couldn't be happier. Including 2 photos, these were taken with my S8, of video from Dragon Quest XI, prior to any adjustments. Right out of the box.

  • It is perfect.

I really could be happier. Came from a 16:9 1080p 60hz monitor and the difference is night and day. I really didn't appreciate how big of a difference it would be. I have had zero problems with this monitor, build quality is obvious and the monitor is gorgeous both in the image it provides as well as the ascetics of the monitor its self. I would hands down recommend this monitor definitly best of 2018.

  • Better than peers in segment

My first pick was Samsung 49 for productivity, but it had much lower ppi. Too low for graphic design. Me second pick was LG 39, but it had low refresh rate. This turned out to be the golden middle. Good ppi, good refresh. The stand is very heavy duty aluminum, overall has a heavy and solid feel.

  • Great monitor.

Great monitor. No screen bleed, no ghosting, no artifacts, no IPS glow, no dead pixels, Flying with 120hz like it's nothing. Has three customizable lights on the back, has a touch sensitive one on the bottom that can be touched to turn on and off, and even the power button can be customized. Feels very immersive in FPS games, can be very bright, the darks are pretty dark, and has a neat interface. So far after looking at the competitors, this is the champ. Just glance at the asus and acer competitors, not a very fair fight for them.
