Easy and Fun
My hairdresser used one of these on my hair and I thought how great it was and had to have one. It's so easy to use and fun to make the spirals, then I just finger comb them into pretty waves. The curling attachments do get hot, so make sure to remove by holding the tip of the attachment. I find that the dryer leaves my hair smooth, unlike my other hair dryer that has been making my hair a bit dry, frizzy and fly away, and I have long, straight, thin blonde hair. I've used both sizes of the air wrap and love how they add waves and body to my thin hair. Highly recommend this product as I believe it's better for your hair than conventional hair dryers and curling irons that can dry out your hair.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Cut out and died after a few minutes when brand new
I was so excited to start using this. Unfortunately, it seems to overheat within five or six minutes--not long enough to get my hair done. Happened the first time I used it, straight out of the box. Red light started flashing less than a quarter of the way through drying my hair. Wouldn't turn back on. Looked up what it meant, and it said to clean the filter. What? This is brand new; literally its maiden voyage. It cooled down and I was able to turn it back on about 20 minutes later. It again lasted only a few minutes before cutting out with the flashing red light. Makes me think it wasn't truly refurbished or tested before it was re-sold. Neat but not for me
The hair dryer works well and the idea of the product is awesome. I have long, fine hair and while it does curl with the wands it falls within a few minutes- even with excessive amounts of hairspray and using the "cool blast" to lock in the curl. I really want to like this because I have seen so many videos of it looking amazing on other people but it definitely is not worth the time, effort or price for my hair type. Nervous about refurbished Airwrap
Bought refurbished and was really nervous about its functionality. So far, so good! It's only been a few weeks, so perhaps it's too soon to tell if there will be issues with this product. Thankfully this comes with a one-year-warranty (as opposed to the normal 2-year-part and labour-warranty offered for brand new Dyson Airwraps), so I'm going to use it as much as possible to identify any glitches within that timeframe. Again, no issues so far! I know how the Airwrap is supposed to work because I've been using my friends' for the last few months, so I have something to compare it to. Bought my own because I moved back to my home country. I love what it does for my fine and limp hair - I've got volume for DAYS with this thing; however, my hair won't hold a curl or wave for too long unless I get it a little wet before styling. I would recommend using a hydrosol or something really lightweight to spritz your hair just before dysoning if you have fine or dry locks like mine. I'll update this post if I have any issues with the refurbished Airwrap. Would've preferred to buy new, but I was desperate to get my hands on one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Easier to use than I thought
The Dyson Airwrap is much easier to use than I thought it would be. I read some complaints that people had difficulty using it. That had me a bit worried because I'm not a natural when it comes to hairstyling. I've only used it a few times, so I wouldn't say I'm an expert at all. However, it's not difficult for me to use and I'm enjoying the versatility of all the attachments. Pros: -doesn't make my hair super hot -works well on the low heat setting -dries my thick, long hair pretty quickly (even on low) -brushes straighten my hair and gives it volume at the same time Cons: -takes a little getting used to -that's about it, really liking this product!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Hair Game Improved!
Love my "refurbished" Airwrap! I actually look forward to doing my hair now as opposed to grudgingly styling it weekly. Takes practice getting the curls just right and figuring out what works best for my hair type but having a lot of fun trying. The styling attachments make my hair feel silky and much healthier even just two weeks into using it. Easy to use.
Took me a few mins to get the controls down and how to use, but it took off once you nail it. It’s very easy to use! I like the box it comes in, it makes it very convenient having the tools ready to switch out. I wish the box had a handle or strap so i can easily pick it up and move it. Other than that, splurge purchase but worth it in my opinion. I have pin straight hair and love to curl it. I switched from a curling iron to this.. my only complaint is, for my type of hair, I need to make sure my hair is DRY from damp so that it stick STICKS.
