This is a quality Sound-bar & Sub combo. The sub sounds deep, tight and punchy... Sound check with many genre's. The Sound-bar itself has a good weight and feels well made. Every device has a different MAX input level, so you might have to use the remote to adjust the sound levels according your preference. I recommend keeping your sub level down... a few notches under MAX sub level. SPL is high with this SUB. Other reviews I've read say the Sub fails after playing full level for extended period of time. Me personally, I dont plan on finding out. The combo sounds fantastic in our smaller room and there is too much bass for this room, so we have to turn the sub down. Very happy with this purchase and recommend this product.

I hook up the sound bar no problem but the problem is with the sound output the sound keep cutting out and I am connected with the Optical Input, also there is no digital display to tell you how loud the volume level (up or down) or to tell you what audio sound mode you are in, basically you have to guess. I talk to a technician at LG and he told me that this sound bar does not have any digital display except for a icon that let you know that it is turn on. This is my second LG product and both has not live up to its name. I wish I could return this product because I am very dissatisfied with or should I say without a digital display who does this. Thanks a lot LG for nothing.

This sound bar is very good! There is plenty of sound for the area of my bedroom. It is light weight, nice-looking, and slim. The audio quality is impressive, especially watching a 4k video/movies/TV series!! The only downside that I can find is that there is no way to see your volume level...at all! ( If anyone finds the volume indicator on the sound bar, please let me know.) However, this lack of a feature was not frustrating enough for me to return the sound bar. For $65 dollars, I would highly recommend this item!

This soundbar puts out a really good sound for the price. If you are looking for something that is significantly better than the built-in TV speakers but don't need a true high end sound, these are the ones. Subwoofer complements the soundbar well, but is certainly limited in the punch it packs. All said, this is well worth the price!

Finally I can fill the room with my audio! Bluetooth expands the functionality of this product. The wireless sub woofer allows for convenient placement. I have experience occasional audio dropouts while using the optical input, but have not determined if this was caused by the bar or my tv. Very happy with this product.

My girlfriend needed an identical replacement subwoofer after the speaker in hers blew. (This model is stupidly glued/sealed together such that the speaker cannot be removed/replaced.) This one arrived in extremely poor condition (insulation scraped off from some sections of the power cord, massive scratches and dents all over the exterior of the unit, and an old "Best Buy" sticker that indicated this had been a display unit), which leads me to believe it was scavenged from a dumpster. But I was able to patch up the power cord, buff out some of the scratches, clean the whole thing up... and most importantly, it works like new. It's stupid that LG doesn't sell the subwoofer as a separate piece.

Great sound from sub woofer. Not to impressed with theater sound. To me it sounds a lot like car radios in the 50's before stereo when you would connect a reverberater to it. Almost like a slight echo,tricky to figure out how to adjust that out if you only want to hear the sub woofer. But over all not a bad sounding system for the money.
