This is an upgrade model to the g85. The Panasonic g95d has more buttons and knobs to play with. The d means oled screen and the model without the d is the lcd version. I got a good deal with the Amazon warehouse open box like new condition and when the box arrived it was exactly like the description said. Since the camera is used I wanted to find out what the shutter count is, but nobody online has a good guide for the Panasonic g85 or g95. No worries mate, I figured it out for you. Follow closely to access the secret menu: Place formatted sd card in camera, make sure you have full charge battery in camera, flip left switch to single shot, flip right switch to iA, flip switch to power on camera (pic 5), press button at front to take picture, then flip switch to turn off camera, flip the camera panel out so you can see it, with one finger hold down AF/AE Lock button, with other finger hold down Disp button, then while 2 buttons are pressed, flick the camera switch on (pic 3), now you can let go of Disp button, but keep finger pressed on AF/Ae Lock button, now hold down Menu/Set button, and at same time press back button on dial twice (pic 4) You should see a screen with bunch of 00s (pic 1) and when you press the back button again you will see the camera info screen (pic 2). My shot count is 235, which means there's plenty of life left, because this camera is supposed to last 100k-200k shots. Cheers mate 😊

I own multiple cameras that are full frame, apsc, mft, and all mirrorless. The size of this camera combined with the quality of pictures it takes and the fun features it provides makes this the camera I reach for when I’m headed out the door for a day and don’t know what I’m going to end up shooting.

The picture sizes are fine and the quality is perfect. I’ve not had trouble with the focusing so long as I put the ‘plus’ where I want it to focus. This may be a little slower than the Sony auto acquisition of an eye, but again I’m using it for fun, not a paid fast motion gig.

If you’re looking for a nice camera at a great price and a great size, don’t let the micro 4/3 platform scare you It does a great job.

I used this for kids sports, stills and portraits. The features and performance are very close to the Lumix G9 while still being quite compact. I'd consider this for a hiking/camping camera due to the compact size and low weight.

Picture quality is excellent, low light performance is a struggle but that is due to being a micro four thirds sensor. The live composite feature is great to get your exposure right and helps cut down on post processing. The DFD autofocus works well for kids sports in AF-C but burst mode slows down to 6 fps. 4k video recording is OK if you can live with the 2x crop. The G95 is billed as a hybrid camera, it does both but I find that it is better suited for stills.

It’s a very good hybrid camera, I said “very good" , but not excellent. There are some features in video and photo that are lacking in this camera, making it looks like Panasonic is clearly “holding/neutering" the camera's full potential. Some examples of that in video: Doesn’t shoot full hd 24fps, doesn’t shoot full hd at high bitrates (24 mbps is outdated in 2022), Crops in 4K even more than the micro 4/3 crop (it means that it has to shoot very, very wide, to look a little bit wide), does not record 10 bit in full hd or 4K to an external device, the focus peaking for manual focus lies a little bit (does not works perfectly), little noisy in the shadows (but this is common even for far more expensive cameras). For photography in my opinion it’s a fine camera, I only felt it lacks HDR pictures, and as I said in video, the response is a little noisy in the shadows. So if you are searching for a great camera for video in a similar price range, go with the GH4 or GH5 (used), X-S10 Fuji (body only), Sony A7s2 (used, body only). But there are good points on this camera, that makes me believe it’s surely costs what it costs: Beautiful 8 bit colors, no limit of recording time, stabilized sensor, great photos files (comparable with much more expensive full frames).

This isn't the latest or greatest Micro 4/3 camera but it's a very good one, nonetheless. I love the ergonomics here. The grip is fairly substantial and fits my very average-size hand well. This camera mimics the control layout of its predecessor (Lumix G85) and that's a very good thing. The memory card slot is on the side of the grip where it's supposed to be! No having to go into the battery compartment. Nice!

I had purchased it, and I love it. Though it is not a professional camera such as GH5 or GH6, it has all the features and functionality I need. And it is relatively small, light, and inexpensive. If you are amateur photographer, you wont be disappointed. If you are professional photographer and you need M4/3 system, get yourself GH5/6.

I bought this camera two months ago. I normally use the 14mm to 140 mm lens. I use the camera for photos and video. I normally use the 1080p at 60 frames a second . The video is great I see no need to use 4K. I’ve used 4K and also 1080 p they both work great. I see no need to use 4K because the 1080p is breathtaking. The photos are great. The most important thing about this camera is the stabilization it really works great. I have been able to take great photos in the dark hand held at a 5 second shutter speed. This camera is amazing. I will say I have a steady hand. Blurry photos because of camera shake are eliminated. I love the layout of all the buttons they are all in the correct place. Panasonic are number one when it comes to ease of use.

I have owned several high end DSLR's and Mirrorless cameras. My recommendation comes with qualification!

I'm loving the Panasonic Lumix G-95. This robust camera is feature-rich and controls are easily accessible in various ways, including touch-screen, with a range of ways for saving different custom settings as well. It is a very good idea to carefully go over the camera's user manual, maybe more than once, due to its complexity and extensive range of features. I'm finding how-to videos on the camera very helpful, eg the excellent "Lumix-G95 Tutorial" on YouTube by Michael Andrew.

Once again, the product arrived early.
      Well boxed, no issues there.
The other half was complaining the canon 80d with EF lenses were getting to heavey to pack around all day. Watched some reviews, weight and price came together.
She is very happy with it.
And already the pressure is on for longer lenses.
