Excellent deal,great shipping
I was very concerned about damage during the shipping process. Then I figured , if these expensive tv’s are getting damaged all the time, it would be a huge problem for everyone involved. So I ordered it. It turns out they have the process down to science and there is need to be concerned. They Use a special narrow and long wood pallet. Then they use many straps to hold the tv/box in the upright/ standing position on the pallet. This way no other boxes come close to hitting it . I also found out that at the final warehouse were it was shipped prior to my house, it was kept in a separate room away from forklifts ,and not lifted onto 20’ tall racks. Then of course they use a pallet jack and lift tailgate for unloading . Although the box itself had previously been opened , Everything in the box was brand new (sealed ) and unopened. Great TV, great price, odd shipping but worked out
Love the TV. I’d decided on this model a while ago. I almost pulled the trigger on Black Friday, but hesitated and prices went up. Carefully watching on eBay, I finally got the price I wanted and pulled the trigger. It shipped and arrived in about a week. Shipping. That was the odd part. When the driver first contacted me on delivery day, he asked me to meet him in a grocery store parking lot near me. I refused. He claimed his semi couldn’t get into my neighborhood. I had to explain that moving company semis have moved everyone on our street. He finally agreed. Ultimately he brought a securely strapped and packed TV on a pallet to my front door and even waited patiently while I cut the straps and inspected the box. He then took the pallet with him.
