Smoking fast boot time. Great value
I have three Sandisk Ultra II ssds. All are marked "refurbs".The two 480 GB ssds that are in an array write and read faster than the single TB ssd drive. That is because the controller can split the data between drives, doubling throughput. My fastest machine has a 4 ssd raid. All the machines boot in under 15 seconds. This 960 GB one replaced two 500GB WD brand hds in my laptop. Get the free upgrade software on the link at the Sandisk website to copy your old hard drive to the ssd. If you are replacing more than one old drive, make sure you partition the ssd drive to match the size of the old drives before you clone them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Plugs in and just works, no problem
I have plugged this in to both my Win 7 and Win XP computers. Just connect the SATA and power cables, and your system should recognize it. You will need to create partition(s), and then you can start copying files to it. It is so light and small, you can stash it almost anywhere inside the computer case. Best Possible PC Upgrade
I upgraded 3 PC's. Two with Samsung drives, one SanDisk, all work perfectly. If you use any cloning software other than Acronis (free for 30 days) you will likely have problems.
