Bad and corner cut design, yet lots of storage.
ITs a good size of data storage, and when on sale a decent value. But often I see the 14TB for $200. What I dont like is that companies restrict or try and restrict the use. It should be easy to take it out and use it as internal, but its not that easy. Also some of these are 5400rpm slower drives. Its not so critical as these are used for backup.
This has NO power button, and that is something I would like to see, as well as a longer USB cable.
Having said all that, I think the worst part of this drive is the design. It is not designed to stack with other WD Easystore drives and you can only have it vertical, as a designed to setup drive. You can lay it down, but it will slide around. The last thing you want is 12tb sitting vertically for you to knock over.
